Atlanta Market
Georgia has been growing since the late 1960s, and the Atlanta metropolitan area currently boasts a population of more than 5.6 million, making it the seventh largest metropolitan area in the U.S. Atlanta continues to attract a talented workforce and is home to some of the nation's top companies. The area draws companies eager to take advantage of low business and living costs, global connectivity through the airport, top research universities and high quality of life.

Atlanta remains home to the world's busiest airport serving more than 89 million passengers annually and with non-stop service to more than 230 worldwide destinations. Additionally, Atlanta is the rail center of the South and one of the five most important distribution centers in the US, with two major rail carriers each operating over 100 freight trains daily to and from Atlanta.

The city is building toward a tech hub in the Southeast, with the international airport, a healthy cluster of corporate giants and a spike of new entrepreneurial activity. This has put Atlanta in the top 10 on this year's Kauffman Entrepreneurial Index, which tracks new business creation.
