Leads the Retail Investment Property Group, which specializes in institutional, regional and private clients throughout the Southeast. The group specializes in single retail and portfolio investment property transactions, as well as joint venture structuring, development, and land.

As a member of the NAI Global Investment Council, Underwood has immediate access to an unequalled reach of global buyers and sellers. This enables his clients to achieve higher levels of pricing in shorter periods of time than his competitors. The Southeast Investment Sales Group is dedicated exclusively to the acquisition and disposition of investment properties and 1031 exchanges. Investment property transactions have exceeded $1.9 billion and have totaled over 30.5 million square feet. Underwood holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Florida as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from Georgia State University.
